Our 25th anniversary is the perfect opportunity to think about our future and we would love you to be part of it. Your help and support will not only allow us to continue inspiring young lives through outdoor adventure, but will also enable us to reach more vulnerable young people.
A place on our programme which runs over 3 school years, is completely free to the young people. However, each place costs us £3,300. We receive no Government funding and rely entirely upon the generosity of individuals, companies, grant makers and community organisations.
Whether you join us as on one of our challenge events, make a donation, fundraise on our behalf or become one of our volunteers, you can be sure that you will be changing lives for the better.
Our fundraising events and camps are run by a dedicated team of volunteers who give their time and expertise to the Trust. Without their support we would not be able to provide such life changing opportunities for young people.
Why not join our growing list of supporters who challenge themselves whilst raising much needed funds for vulnerable young people. You could walk to the top of the highest mountain in the UK or travel through one of the most spectacular frozen wildernesses on the planet. Either way you won't forget your time with the Youth Adventure Trust and neither will the children who you support.
Exceeding your own expectations and pushing yourself are at the heart of what we do at the Youth Adventure Trust. In 2017 we are seeking 25 adventurous people to help celebrate our 25th anniversary by taking on their own personal challenge and raising funds for our young people. Run a marathon, do an endurance bike ride, swim the oceans or take to the air - do whatever you fancy and we will support you every step of the way.
Visit our dedicated section for grant makers which provides latest updates on the Youth Adventure Programme and our Report & Accounts.
The Youth Adventure Trust needs to raise over £500,000 this year to continue our work. There are many ways you can help. We have a number of sponsorship opportunities which include UK Challenge Events, Arctic Expeditions, our Programme and Website. If you would like to see who we currently work with and what partnership opportunities are available, please visit our Corporate Partners page.
What I hadn't anticipated was how much I would personally gain from the experience. I came home with a great feeling of adventure; I had tackled some fears of my own and feel a stronger person for it.
