Every day our Programme Managers are working with vulnerable young people to build resilience, develop confidence and learn skills they can use to face the challenge in their lives. By raising money for the Youth Adventure Trust, you’ll be helping us make sure those young people lead positive lives and fulfil their potential.

There are lots of ways you can fundraise for the Youth Adventure Trust – from taking on a challenge to baking cakes or holding a quiz with friends and family. Every penny raised will go towards helping us provide outdoor adventure to empower young people. Find out how you can make a difference as a #TeamYAT fundraiser.

We’d love to talk to you about your ideas, share support on planning, training and fundraising and be your own personal cheer leader. Email Natalie on natalie.levin@youthadventuretrust.org.uk to find out more about joining #TeamYAT!

Get Your Bake On

Everyone loves a tasty treat, so cook up a storm and get your bake on! Ask for a donation in return for a yummy cake, or two… oh, maybe just one more…

Be Quizzical!

At the pub, in the office or from your sofa, find yourself a quiz master and set the questions! Themed rounds work really well and can be easily connected to your favourite activities.

Adopt a Collection Box

Could you find a home for a collection tin? As shops and offices are open again, could you have a desktop collection tin to help raise awareness and funds for Youth Adventure Trust?

Raffle Dazzle ‘Em!

Raffles, tombolas, auctions or ‘Guess the Contents in the Jar’ are a great way to draw in lots of donations and get others involved in your fundraising.

Game On!

Hold a Games Event and charge team entry or entry per game. Sports Days for adults usually go down well, with egg & spoon races a-plenty!

Dress Differently Day!

Get sponsored for looking a little different! A Fancy Dress, a Dress Up or Dress Down day at work, or a non-uniform day at school, are always popular ways to raise funds.

Fundraise in Celebration

From birthdays and christenings, to weddings and anniversaries, to retirement or even Christmas… Asking for donations instead of gifts, cards or favours is an inspiring way for family and friends to mark your special occasion while supporting a cause that’s important to you.

Give It Up

Set yourself a challenge and give up something you love! Get sponsored by family, friends, or colleagues, or simply donate some of the amount you would’ve spent.

Open Gardens

Be a homegrown hero by hosting a life-changing fundraiser in your garden. Whether you open your garden for the public or neighbours to admire, or host a garden party for your friends and family, you will raise vital funds to help young people get outside too.

Golf Day

A great way to turn your hobby into a fun day out for you and your friends while raising money!

Sports or Race Night

Follow a favourite team? Up the competition with our Sweepstake card and enjoy the big match with friends: a donation gets them some snacks, drinks and an exciting evening in front of the TV!

Community Connections

Many of our supporters have connections with local golf clubs, fetes, fairs and coffee mornings that support local charities. We’d be hugely grateful if you could ask your local festivities to support the Youth Adventure Trust.
