What's Next?
Now that you’re registered, if you have a fundraising place you will have access to your fundraising page. Please check your emails and if you don't have this let us know ASAP- you'll want to share that link far and wide.
Here are some simple tips for kick-starting your fundraising:
1) Add in a profile picture
Pages with a recognisable photo tend to raise more. People feel more connected to the cause- simple but powerful!
2) Share your ‘why’
Why do you want to support Youth Adventure Trust to help vulnerable young people to get outdoors? A personal story can go a long way.
3) Post regular updates
Keeping your friends and family updated on your journey. Whether it’s a training hike or a fundraising milestone, your updates give them a reason to show their support.
4) Connect your Strava
A great way to show your commitment to the challenge and show off your training efforts!
5) Make a self-donation
Kicking your fundraising off with a personal donation is a great way to boost your fundraising efforts. It shows belief in the cause and encourages others to follow.
