We’re excited to launch our new film which showcases both the impact of the Mentoring Programme for our young people, and the experience of our Mentoring Volunteers.
At the Youth Adventure Trust we witness first hand the power of mentoring, and know the often life-changing impact that a volunteer’s support can have on a young person. With the help of our dedicated volunteers and fantastic young people, we have created a film which highlights the value of this unique relationship for both the young people, and the adults supporting them.
“I’m starting to get more confidence to actually leave the house because I’m going out with my friends soon and I’m actually getting the confidence to leave without my mum. I’m really happy about it.”
We are currently recruiting volunteers to begin supporting a young person in September and would particularly like to hear from anyone who lives or works within a short drive of Salisbury, Amesbury, Warminster or Trowbridge.
