The young people on our programme don’t pay a penny to take part in our Programme, which spans three school years. We welcome the support of local community groups to help raise the money we need to support vulnerable young people in your local area.

To find out more about our work and the difference your support can make to somebody in your community, then please visit the About Us section of the website.

There are so many ways you can get involved, including:

  • Contribute to the cost of a place on our Programme for a young person from your local area
  • Organise an event for us or take part in one of our existing events
  • Help spread the word about the work we are doing in your community
  • Promote our volunteering opportunities

We would be very happy to come and give a presentation at one of your meetings or have an informal chat to tell you more about the young people we are currently working with from your community. Please call Natalie on 07944 666412 or send her an email to discuss ways your community group can get involved.

Testimonial

The Rotary Club of Swindon North is committed to making a difference to the lives of people in their community. Consequently, following a talk about the Youth Adventure Trust at one of their Rotary Meetings, the Club agreed to commit to funding a place on our Programme for a young person from Swindon. They supported us for three years through their annual Race Night and also by choosing the Youth Adventure Trust as the nominated charity to benefit from their annual Swimathon in 2019 and ultimately raised a fantastic £5,756.59.

This is why the Rotary Club of Swindon North decided to support the Youth Adventure Trust:

“Learning in an outdoor environment is a key part of any child’s development but vulnerable and disadvantaged young people often don’t have the opportunity to experience it.  The Youth Adventure Trust makes a real difference to such youngsters’ lives by providing those very valuable outdoor learning experiences.  The young people leave with hope, confidence, resilience and the skills they need to achieve adulthood goals.  We are proud to be a supporter of the Youth Adventure Trust.”
