We are so grateful for the generous support we receive from our major donors, charitable trusts and foundations.

All grants and major gifts, irrespective of size, are essential in enabling us to provide sustainable funding for our Youth Adventure Programme, the Mentoring Scheme and the Bursary Scheme.

Donations can be used to fund essential operating costs, a specific camp, equipment or to support children and families from distinct geographical areas. If there is a particular purpose that you want your money to be used for, we are very happy to talk to you about how you can have the maximum impact on what you care most about.

Whether general or restricted, a gift, donation or grant can make a tangible difference to the services we provide, and ultimately to the children and families we support.

How you can help

Are you able to make a major gift or grant, or do you know someone who might be interested in doing so? Could you open a door to a prospective donor or help host a small event?

Whether you are an existing supporter or new to us, we would be delighted to discuss opportunities to work together.

Major gifts and grants can be spread over a number of years, providing essential funding now and in the future, and gifts from UK taxpayers can be made tax efficient.

Come and meet us.  Join us for a day on one of our camps – Mountain, Forest or Coastal! Or come and see our work in action on one of our local Activity Days or Pathway Days. A visit will provide a real insight into our work and will show you how your support could inspire young lives.

We pride ourselves on developing strong relationships with our supporters. We will ensure you stay informed about our work and provide high quality reports about the impact your support makes.

If you are a trustee or have links with a grant-maker, or are considering making a personal gift, please contact Nicola Keys-Toyer (Trusts Fundraising Manager) or Natalie Levin (Philanthropy Manager)

Testimonials

“The William Wates Memorial Trust is a grants giving charity that helps the most disadvantaged young people fulfil their potential and stay away from a life of crime. Over the years we have come to recognise that our most successful grants are to charities that support young people with multiple touch points over a long period of time. Youth Adventure Trust offer young people 3 residential camps, alongside multi-day activities and pathway days over a 3 year school period at no cost to them and their families, thus delivering a sustained long term impact and early intervention programme. This is exactly the type of model we like to support and Youth Adventure Trust do it superbly.”

Rick Wates, Trustee

“The Blagrave Trust is delighted to endorse the work of the Youth Adventure Trust, a charity we have been supporting since 2014. Through the range of camps and activities that YAT provides, young people gain in confidence and independence and improve their trust and teamwork skills. We believe YAT is filling a need and are pleased to have been able to support them to extend this opportunity to more young people from Wiltshire and Swindon over the last two years. As an organisation, YAT is professional, reflective and aspirational, building on its experience to strengthen the reach and quality of its provision.”
